Putting together charity golf outings where attendees not only enjoy themselves and want to come back, but fundraising goals are consistently hit can be a tricky endeavor. Walter Kirkland puts together several tournaments each year for both organizations he runs or is a part of as well as events where he is hired simply to produce and ensure a quality outing.
Walter is the founding president of the Prince George’s County chapter of the 100 Black Men of America mentorship organization and is hosting an upcoming celebrity tournament with an impressive list of household names. He joined the podcast to talk about his process of putting together a successful event.
