The preparation that goes into getting a golf course ready to host a PGA Tour event requires a tremendous amount of planning & coordination, to ensure conditions are ideal when the tour pros visit and throngs of attendees pack the grounds. 

Leading this effort at TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm is Tim Connolly, who along with his dedicated team have the course in immaculate shape as the Wells Fargo Championship comes to town this week.

We talked about the work that his team has done over these past months, what they’ll be doing during tournament week and what to expect during play.  Tim also shared his backstory in golf getting into the game & agronomy on Maryland’s eastern shore.
