Having won at every level from junior golf while at Georgetown Prep, to global amateur events while at the University of Virginia & later the Korn Ferry Tour championship, it seems just a matter of time before the Montgomery County native & five-year PGA Tour veteran, Denny McCarthy finds the winner’s circle at the highest level in the game. His homecoming at Avenel Farm last week would’ve been special had it come to fruition and for a while looked like a real possibility.
